An exciting opportunity for a creative Assistant Manager looking to make their mark in our popular charity shop in Godalming.

Come and join our amazing team on a part time permanent basis working 3 days per week Thurs - Saturday, and in return you will receive a competitive salary, pension and generous annual leave.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:
● Experience of working in retail is highly desirable, as is experience working in the charity retail sector
● Knowledge of fashion trends and brands
● Talent for merchandising and display
● Excellent communication skills
● Adaptable, flexible, able to identify opportunities and generate new ideas for promoting the shop and sales
● Confidence in working on own initiative
● Good general education, with proven literacy and numeracy skills

SAMARITANS IS A NATIONAL CHARITY
The Samaritans Charity Shop in Godalming was opened in 2013 by a team of volunteers to support the Guildford branch of Samaritans. As an independent, stand-alone shop it has delivered far and above what was originally expected, supporting Samaritans locally as well as nationally. Now very much a favourite for shoppers visiting Godalming, our team ensures that the shop is bright and inviting.
