Shop Manager

Job description

A Shop Manager to join our team based at Hope House Shop in Chester. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis 37.5 hours per week.

About the Shop Manager role:

Reporting to the Area Manager, you will take responsibility for the management of our Chester shop, volunteers and customer services ensuring best representation of the charity on the high street. This support will include the processing of donations, gift aid, stock density and rotation, retail supplies and new goods, and the use of resources such as online sales to improve profitability.

You will maximise revenue using your commercial flair, ensuring the operational costs of the shop are covered and a profit contribution is generated. You will take responsibility for the line management, motivation and performance of staff and volunteers, being a firm but enabling leader who sparks enthusiasm and performance.
