Deputy Head of Retail (Community Shops)

Seeking a Deputy Head of Retail to lead several community shops with a view to strategically growing income from these outlets.

The post holder will be responsible for the achievement of financial targets for the following aspects of Wirral Hospice’s retail operations:

Community Shops (targets vary depending on size, location, but expectations are in excess of £30k-£40k net profit per outlet).
Supporting community shop managers scheduled days off / leave utilising relief shop managers.

Key objectives of the role include:

To lead and oversee a number of community shops within remit.
To meet or exceed income and expenditure targets across all areas of responsibility.
To work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the strategic development of our retail operations, ensuring excellent public relations, customer service and a high standard of shop presentation and display.
To represent Wirral Hospice St John’s externally at events, meetings and other opportunities as required.
