Traid’s store managers are responsible for all aspects of staffing, have a say in product selection and are responsible for the overall customer and in-store team satisfaction. It is crucial that you have a passion for second-hand clothes, fashion brands and charity retail.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create a great place for people to shop and work.
- Manage all aspects of the shop team, from recruiting and training, to arranging rotas, and keeping everyone - upbeat and productive.
- Support and train staff to provide the best customer service.
- Set and achieve ambitious retail targets.
- Help ensure Traid has the best second-hand clothes on the high street.
- Oversee product balance, including feedback to Traid’s warehouse, managing delivery quotas, selecting stock, optimising pricing and merchandising the shop floor.
- Work with the Marketing and Communications team on impactful new ideas, in-store events and activity, social media content and initiatives that support Traid’s values.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Management experience in a busy retail outlet.
- Commercially aware, with a record of achieving great sales targets.
- A passion for second-hand retail and solid knowledge of the market.
- Strong communications skills.
- Ability to “roll-up sleeves” and get stuck into the busy world of charity retail
- Ability to mentor staff and promote a team-working environment.
- Knowledge and love of fashion and trends.
