As Assistant Shop Manager, you’ll support the Shop Manager in the smooth day-to-day running of the store, ensuring great customer service, efficient stock management and an inviting, well-presented shop. You’ll help maximise income through effective merchandising, stock rotation and maintaining high retail standards.
You’ll work closely with staff and volunteers to create a welcoming environment, assist with opening and closing procedures, handle cash, and ensure compliance with health & safety and safeguarding requirements. Collaboration across our wider North Yorkshire retail team is key, supporting stock flow, consistent standards and a positive, community-focused retail experience.
