Our retail chain plays a vital role in funding these services, and we are looking for an experienced Retail Operations Manager to lead and grow this area of our work.
You will be responsible for delivering the organisation’s Retail Strategy, focusing on maximising net contribution, delivering excellence in customer service, and improving sales and minimising costs.
About the Role
As Retail Operations Manager, you will:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of our charity shops and online retail platforms with the support of our Retail Area Manager and E‑Commerce, Logistics and New Goods Manager.
- Oversee and manage sales performance and profitability across multiple locations through KPI’s and Objectives.
- Lead, motivate, and develop to create a high performing retail team.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, trading standards, and charity regulations.
- Develop strategies to expand retail income and enhance customer experience, including new shop openings.
- Manage budgets, stock control, and reporting to senior leadership.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience in multi-site retail management (charity retail experience desirable).
- Is commercially minded with strong leadership and communication skills.
- Can deliver results through people, processes, and innovation.
- Has experience of opening new stores.
- Is passionate about making a difference in the community.
