Charity Retail Awards: Spotlight on the most Supportive Chief Executive

Mark Russell, Chief Executive of The Children’s Society wins Most Supportive Chief Executive for championing retail through the charity and engaging with retail issues.

Mark Russell, Chief Executive of The Children’s Society.

This award recognises the role of chief executives in guiding charities through good and bad times and in understanding the importance of retail to the parent charity, championing retail through the charity and engaging with retail issues.

Last year we were delighted to present this award to Mark Russell, Chief Executive of The Children’s Society. Here is what Mark had to say…

“I am incredibly proud of The Children’s Society retail team and I love my visits to our shops. It is always a privilege to meet our staff and volunteers to say a massive thank you and hopefully inspire them as to how the money they raise transforms children’s lives. I was so moved and proud to win this award, because I hope I can always be a CEO who loves, values and supports our retail team!”

If you have an amazing, supportive and inspiring Chief Executive – why not consider nominating them for this award. View more details about this, and all of our other awards categories.
