Sustainable Fashion Week’s ‘Mend It May’ is back for 2025, this year with a competitive edge!

The SFW team are launching a new Mend it May competition, looking for the best mending projects across the UK in different categories. A competition that charity retailers can get their teams and customers involved in – whether or not they have ever picked up a needle before or are already a mending powerhouse – there is something for everyone.

Perhaps have a rail of stock that needs a mend or an upcycle to bring back to life, or create your own Mend it May promotion to attract local crafters and people looking to start a new hobby. It’s a tangible way to promote sustainability and community all at once!

The Sustainable Fashion Week team say “Mending, upcycling and repurposing the clothes that already exist IS the future of the fashion industry.”

Keep an eye out on SFW’s Instagram, where all the action will take place.
