Their twist on the classic poem ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas highlights the affordability of charity shopping during the festive period, the treasure trove of quality fashion, gifts, cards, decorations, and more than can be discovered in a Weldmar shop, and the difference that every pound spent in the charity shop makes.
The new version – featuring the voice of none other than Father Christmas himself – was written by Katie Gillingham, from the charity’s Marketing and Communications team, who says;
“I get to visit one of Weldmar’s charity shops each week as part of my job, and getting to chat to customers, volunteers and staff really highlights the lovely communities we have around each store, and the brilliant work they all do. I really wanted it to reflect that in the advert, and show how vital the retail arm of the charity is in raising funds for the specialist end of life care Weldmar provides.”
The advert is being shown on social media, and on screens in selected Weldmar Hospicecare charity shops.
