Recruitment to the CRA board of directors

Due to an unique set of circumstances, a number of vacancies have arisen simultaneously on the CRA board of directors.

This is a particularly interesting time to join the board, as this year we will be recruiting a successor for our Chief Executive Robin Osterley, who will be retiring from full time work at the end of 2026.

So this is a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of the Charity Retail Association, be influential in its direction of travel, and contribute in a very concrete way to the sector we all know and love.

Looking after wellbeing in charity shops

December 10, 2025

Charity retail can be deeply rewarding, offering opportunities that genuinely make a difference. But like all retail, and with the everyday realities of donated stock and managing volunteers, it can also be physically demanding, emotionally taxing, and at times challenging.
