Guest blog: Showcasing Innovation at the CRA Conference | A Smarter Way to Handle Cash

This month’s CRA Conference is set to shine a spotlight on innovation within the retail and convenience sector, and one of the key highlights will be a new cash handling solution being showcased on the BMc Azurri stand.

In partnership with fellow corporate member acceptcards®, delegates can see the compact, cutting-edge Cash Smart Safe Solution that offers a better way for charities to manage and reconcile their cash takings.

The smart safe will be available to see on the stand, giving attendees the opportunity to explore how this solution could improve store operations and security. Designed to streamline cash processes both in-store and at head office level, this innovative technology eliminates the need for staff (Paid and Non – Paid) to transport or bank cash at their nearest Bank or Post Office. Instead, daily takings are deposited securely into the smart safe and credited to the charity’s bank account via faster payment, removing risk and adding speed to cash reconciliation.

Not only does the system reduce risk and admin burden for store staff, it also offers head office real-time visibility over the charity’s cash position. This allows for more efficient, data driven decision making and cashflow management. Cash collections from the safe are scheduled depending on volume of takings minimising disruption while maintaining cash availability.

This collaboration between acceptcards® and BMc Azurri reflects a shared commitment to bringing future ready solutions to retailers, helping them stay secure, efficient, and agile in a changing payments landscape.
