The Hub was born from a lifelong love of second-hand fashion and a deep commitment to sustainability.
Our founder, Myles, has over seven years of professional experience in the industry—but really, the journey started much earlier.
Weekends growing up meant early mornings at traditional car boot sales, where every toy, T-shirt, and slightly odd ornament had potential for a second life. That childhood treasure hunting turned into a passion for reuse, resourcefulness, and the idea that "old" doesn't mean "useless"—just waiting for its next chapter.
Fast forward to college life, where fashion became a form of daily self-expression. But with a minimum-wage job and bills to pay, staying stylish on a budget required creativity and hustle. That’s where second-hand fashion became more than just a lifestyle—it became a necessity, and eventually, a business.
What started as a few sales on Depop grew into a small operation, and in 2018, The Hub officially launched.
Today, we’ve grown a lot. We now operate out of a 6,000 sq ft distribution facility in Devon, UK, and process stock across 40,000 sq ft abroad. With over 100 carefully curated product categories, we might not have the biggest catalog, but we’ve adopted a Costco-style mindset: fewer products, tested suppliers, better quality. Every product we supply we know has a proven track record for delivering sales and generating profit. We also sell some of the best brands such as Nike, Adidas, Ralph Lauren, Carhartt, Dickies, Patagonia, Levi's, The North Face, and many more.
Thanks to our streamlined, cost-effective systems, we’re proud to offer what’s usually considered impossible in this industry: quality, price, and speed. No catch, just smart operations and a genuine love for what we do.
Since 2022, we have worked closely with local charities here in Devon, combining our depth of market knowledge with the needs of store managers. We aim to provide a high level of autonomy for store managers, allowing warehouse visits and a constant availability over the phone/email to move with the ever changing trends of the high street. Since becoming a member of the Charity Retail Association, we have put more emphasis on charity outreach helping to bridge the gap between retail and charity.
